Adam can handle most modern boilers, but not all.

Adam communicates with the heating system via the OpenTherm protocol. This means that both the thermostat and the boiler must both support OpenTherm.

You can find out whether it is compatible in the boiler manual. Does the boiler support OpenTherm? Then you cannot automatically assume that the thermostat will do this.

The boiler often has an additional connection option for an on / off thermostat. Therefore, always check whether the thermostat supports the OpenTherm protocol.
