Central heating boilers often have a tap water comfort setting (DHW) that is set to on. With this, your boiler keeps your tap water warm so that you quickly have hot water for tap water or showering.


Some Atag boilers do not distinguish whether the tap water comfort mode is on and whether heating is currently being done for tap water. You will see a tap icon on the Atag boiler:





You will therefore always see the tap in the Plugwise Home app:







Unfortunately, Adam can do nothing about this. Adam receives via OpenTherm from the boiler that active tap water is currently being used and then shows the tap. Even though the boiler is not currently heating. Adam depends on the information that the boiler indicates via OpenTherm.
