If Adam is connected to an OpenTherm thermostat, the thermostat controls when heating takes place. If you have switched on the Plugwise control, the thermostat control will be ignored and Adam determines when heating will take place.
If the Plugwise control has just been switched on, it still has to get to know the house. Adam will then keep track of how hard your house is heating up and will learn this. After a few days, Adam knows how to get the house up to temperature as efficiently as possible.
Do you want to activate the Plugwise scheme? Via the app or web interface (connect.plugwise.net), go to Settings> Heating system> Heating control Mode on Heating via the menu.
