Do you notice that the radiator or underfloor heating is warm while Tom/Floor should be closed? In some cases this can be solved by adjusting the pushing force.

Please note, first make sure you analyze the situation properly:

  • Check that the zone is not heating. In that case, no orange circle is visible around the zone.
  • Check if the Tom/Floor is closed according to Adam. To do this, go to Menu > Setup > Appliances > select your Tom/Floor. At the bottom of the page is the valve position, make sure it is 0% (completely closed).
  • Check that the zone has not heated in the past hour. To do this, check Menu > Measurements > and select the correct zone. Was the set temperature lower than the measured temperature in the past hour?

Have you checked everything and are you sure Tom/Floor is closed and hasn't heated in the past hour? And is the radiator or underfloor heating tube still warm? Then it is possible that Tom/Floor does not close properly. You can then set the pushing force higher.

  • Go to Menu > Setup > Appliances > select your Tom/Floor.
  • Go to Advanced Settings.
  • Select a higher pushing force. First try pushing force High.
  • Click Save.
  • Within 5 minutes the setting is on the Tom/Floor.
  • If the setting is on the Tom/Floor you can click on Calibrate.
  • Tom/Floor has now pushed the valve with a higher pushing force.

Did the higher pushing force not help? Then you can try the pushing force Extra High. It is also possible that the metal pin of the radiator valve itself is very stiff. Then remove Tom/Floor from the radiator valve. Spray the pin of the radiator valve with lubricant such as WD40 and put the Tom/Floor back.
