Three-phase requirements
If you have a 3-phase connection, you can use the Smile P1 to see the consumption/production and the voltage per phase. For this you need the following:
- A Smile P1 with firmware 4.4.0 or higher.
- A three-phase power supply.
- Consumption/production per phase: A smart meter with DSMR protocol 4 or higher.
- Voltage per phase: A smart meter with DSMR protocol 5 or higher.
Check DSMR protocol
Do you have a 3-phase power supply, but you do not see any three-phase information? Then you have a smart meter with DSMR 2 protocol. If you see three-phase information but no voltage then your smart meter has the DSMR 4 protocol.
You can check the DSMR protocol with the Smile P1:
- When you are at home, open the app or go to connect.plugwise.net
- Click on the top left on menu > settings > smart meter.
- You will now see the DSMR protocol
Three-phase example
If everything works properly, you will see the three-phase information on the main screen. This shows the consumption/production and the mains voltage per phase.
